    Turkey load for a 28 gauge (56 cal) ???

the spring season never changed. They did, however, reduce the bag limit and switched the nonresident system to a draw

    Advantages/Disadvantages of 3f with Shot???

My wife is going to be pissed when Kibler comes out with this Fowler

    Advantages/Disadvantages of 3f with Shot???

    Kind of where I’m at.

    Advantages/Disadvantages of 3f with Shot???

I THINK (I’ll have to look back at the notes) the sheet was 14x14”. It would rival some unmentionables for a modified choke at that range

    Advantages/Disadvantages of 3f with Shot???

Yes, Kibler .58 at 25 yards. Jug choked. I went through quite a few loads before settling on this. There were a few others acceptable. I think if I was to upland hunt, I’d go for a bigger bore for easier swing

    Advantages/Disadvantages of 3f with Shot???

Jug choked, believe 25 yards on this one

    Rosie

It’s not that I don’t like it, it’s just all my wife craves which causes a loathe for the islander who danced around in an Italian kitchen

    Hey Kibler

Your best bet is to call him, but I’m going to make a safe assumption the answer will be no. The business is setup to get more DIY flintlocks in people’s hands, not produce custom builds.

Difference in patterning between lead and bismuth/tin shot?

I tend to agree with @Brokennock. You’ve identified your issue already. I’ve stated it exhaustively in the past, but adding cornmeal to my load recipe turned some highly questionable (unethical) patterns into great ones. You may give it a try before switching shot...

    Probably a mixture of both.

    2024 Turkey Hunting

Turkey hunting ranks up there with elk for me. I have some big plans for gobblers in the future, they just won’t be this year. My Kibler colonial seems to do the trick

Chokes or no Chokes for Turkey Hunting

A jug choked barrel could be choked to improved, modified, etc. It doesn't necessarily mean 'Full choke'

Poll: What do you use your muzzleloader for?

The poll said ‘primary’. One can make the safe assumption you’d sight in your weapons before hunting.

Poll: What do you use your muzzleloader for?

Interesting stuff! I made a mental note of where I thought the vote would end and my prediction was a 75% both, 15% target and 10% hunting.

Poll: What do you use your muzzleloader for?

I guess I could've clarified "primarily", but one would assume range visits are a necessity to ensure hunting accuracy. I wonder, has @B P Maniac Shooter kept a list of all the items he's attempted to blow up, shatter, put holes in, flip with velocity, or tear with shrapnel? Has to be a few...

Poll: What do you use your muzzleloader for?

Yes and no. I’ve certainly lost more access over the last 5-6 years than I’d prefer and it seems to be on the uptick. I roam public from time to time, but I have 3 private places to hunt. That said, I’ve never paid for access and never will. 60% of our diet consists of wild game
