    Swiss Infanteriegewehr/feildstuzer mold avaliable

I’ll cast up some tonight and take some measurements. The mold is advertised as .410” or 10.42mm. Some rifles have a 10.35mm bore. Theoretically, If the bore size of your rifle is smaller than 10.42mm or .410”, yes this bullet could be sized and lubed to be fired ‘naked’. If you get down to it...

    1803 Harpers Ferry lock replacement?

I did not have to modify the mortise other than deepening it at the location of the mainspring.

    1803 Harpers Ferry lock replacement?

No, I didn’t take any during the process. Here are a couple of the finished product. Nothing spectacular other than a consistently functioning rifle. It is possible.

    First Time Flintlock

There's one guy here that has assembled 381 Kibler kits and has another one on the way. He will arrive soon. edit to add: All kidding aside, he does really nice work. Are you looking for a long rifle? Short rifle? Are you wanting to shoot conicals or patched round balls? A few things to consider.

Looks like a traditions lock. Those parts are easily available. You need a sear spring.

    1803 Harpers Ferry lock replacement?

I had a Euroarms 1803. I installed the 1803 HF lock built by Davis. This is what I had to do: I filed the outer edge of the lockplate to fit the mortise. It fit without much filing at all. I had to remove quite a bit of material from the top part of the lock plate/pan edge so it would fit...

    J.M. Adcock ‘Bear Rifle’

That rifle was built by Mike Adcock, Doddridge Arkansas. He is a friend of the family. He hasn't built anything or even done any shooting lately. His eyesight has been failing. He built several large bore Hawken style rifles over the years.

Lace-up frontier style slings and crescent stocks..........

I have one of these, made of thin suede. I bought it years and years ago and had it on my Lyman Trade Rifle. It fit the crescent plate well and I had no complaints about it. I no longer use a sling on my rifles. Would be happy to mail it for you to try out. Mine laces on the RH side of the...

A new project... .36 cal fullstock

Shelby, THANK YOU so much for that information. I would never have thought that it would be identified right down to the very maker. So, would this rifle be considered of the "Emmitsburg" school? Are there any other defining features, below the surface, that can also be identified as Rowe? The...
