I enjoyed the opportunity to speak with 8 groups ( 25 students each ) about the harsh frontier life here in KY during the 1780's. And.....yes...the tools were proven unloaded before I talked to every group. It was a fun day indeed.

This is true. When I tried this on the flintlock video, it took less powder when I had the steel restricted from movement at the bottom.

That is something I'm wanting to try soon.... see how round balls works on various sections of car. Thanks for watching...

Went out for some unusual smoothbore shooting for a video project. Cut lead, pea gravel, bolts and arrows were used. That's some VERY fun shooting. I'll post the video in a few weeks.

For a Pedersoli KY rifle...about 6000-6500 shots as seen below. I tried hardening the frizzen once with TOTW hardening materials & did NOT achieve success. Therefore, I gave the TOTW compound stuff away and now simply replace the frizzen. The frizzen can be replaced in less than 5 minutes and...
