    SOLD 1858 Remington Lyman Uberti

Uberti Lyman import 1858 Army Remington. Has a few blems on cylinder and barrel. Nothing serious. Action is good. No issues. This is the only Uberti I have in my closet. I have never fired it myself. It has been shot at some point. The wear on the cylinder might be from a holster. (It came with...

    Hahn 1859 Sharps conversion

I googled the Hahn but all I got was bb guns. Then I tried it with Charlie Hahn and it brought me here. So these revolvers could be any brand?

    Hahn 1859 Sharps conversion

Old post but thought I’d mention it. There are a couple 1858 Remingtons on gb stamped HAHN in a square on top of barrel. Could this be Charlie Hahn ?

    scratch

P800 wet will do a good job. Won't remove the scratches but it will give you a good surface to blue. As mentioned above, it will take the glare off the scratches. Similar result with oil and fine steel wool. All depends how far you want to go with it. 40, 50, and 60 remove metal. Can't tell by...

Nice choice, I like the Naviies. But beware, these are highly addictive. Enjoy, have fun and stay safe.

    scratch

That looks good to me. Good job. All you need in the box is the tool.

    scratch

0000 steel wool with oil. After you get it like you want it. It will not remove the blue. Degrease the area and cold blue. Do the whole area so as to blend it in. I've used this method and it works good. If the scratches are deep, you will have to sand them down to get them out. I've had some...

SOLD - Pending funds Santa Barbara 58 Remington

Well decided to let this one go also. Could not find serial number anywhere. Not sure on this one. Grip fit doesn't feel right. The cylinder looks like it has Italian proof marks. You be the judge. Cycles and timing are good. $285 shipped

    LEAD SHOT for casting

I'm sure it would be fine. As long as there isn't anything else in the mix. What sizes are in it? I use some for my shotgun that were given to me. #9, 6 and 4 mix. Never thought of melting them down. I have plenty ingots and bits and pieces of lead.

    Pietta 1858 cylinder

Actually I'm in the market for a Pietta. Parts are easier and cheaper to find.

    Pietta 1858 cylinder

Just checked, the shipping is free. The tax is 5.28 = 69.28 That's not bad. I wouldn't mind a used if its cheaper.

    Pietta 1858 cylinder

I seen that one. They charge too much for shipping plus the tax on top of that. Muzzle-loaders.com has one for $64 dont know what the shipping is though. Thanks all the same.
