Hunting in wet nasty brushy country

Greetings, I'm new to side locks but have killed a lot of deer and elk. I tend to hunt the jungle of north Idaho and that comes with lots of rain and constant brush crawling. I've had wet powder on well protected inlines and am trying to plan my attack to use my new hawken under similar...

So I finally found a decent rifle and then this happened.

I fed it to the wolves with big bullets and heavy charges of swiss and it shot as good as I can see. Funny how I invested a lot of work to get some well known inlines to do what this does stock. With any luck the post office will drop off my new williams target and I can wring it out the rest...

That's the reason I wanted the renegade. I shoot a lot of heavy recoiling rifles and the renegade stock looks like it would be more operator friendly.

3 youtube subject in a lifetime, one of which was to help someone understand the smoothness of of a Toelke bow. If that's starving for attention, I guess I'm guilty.

What Muzzleloading Stuff Did You Do Today?

I am video illiterate so please excuse the cut up video. I had to go from 3 separate video to eliminate the excess waiting. I think you'll get the message though.

What Muzzleloading Stuff Did You Do Today?

No sir. 50cal and a .503" 495gr bullet. My intention is a elk hunting / long range rifle. I build centerfire rifles as a hobby at my home shop and it's getting pretty boring to spin up a turret and slap targets at long range.....so I set a knight up with some sights I made and a Gehmann iris...

What Muzzleloading Stuff Did You Do Today?

Broke in my new to me TC hawken. Fired 3 at 100 and started ringing our 200yd gong. I'm gonna like this thing. 80grs of swiss 2f a 9/16 lanolin lubed wool wad and a 495gr no excuses seems to be quite adequate in this thing.

    Wad punch / drill

What Muzzleloading Stuff Did You Do Today?

Started my new front sight. A 17ah with a .010" fiber. Drilling a .015" hole is STRESSFUL.

Buying a BP rifle on this site

I'm fine with sending a postal money order and having it sat on till it's hatched into cash. That's plenty fair in my perspective and should be totally safe for the seller.
