    Hares.

Brit, you have an outlet so it's not like the animals are going to waste. Besides if they are a pest they need to be culled. anyway. You'll be doing a good thing in the end.

Bein as I'm kinda flush this month I bought one of each size cap making tool and a couple of the packages of powder for the making of caps. I have lotsa caps and bunches of powder already and at my age I'll probably never get all of it used, but my progeny will probably appreciate it...

    long barrel vs shorter

I have found that the accuracy of a rifle is most affected by the person trying to shoot it. I've seen numerous occurances of a poor rifle shooting fairly well with a good shooter and an excellent rifle shooting very poorly with a poor shooter. Sometimes it ain't the guns fault.

Did notknow where to go with this and hope this Forum is Appropriate

My thoughts on this is that the gun should have a very light background, flat surface with no vertical or horizontal lines of any kind to distract. No grass, trees, or other things behind it.

What a time to try this hobby.

If you get a cap making tool just buy several bags of the priming mix. Why get just one bag?

One Or Two Bores For Everything?

Two bores? A .36 for the little guys and a 62-20 for the bigger ones or birds. Percussion or flint whichever you prefer. Adequate but not really much fun as having a bunch of everything.

    "Restoring" a basket case original.

Sometimes in our journeys on these kinds of sites we meet someone that just does not gel with us in our thinking and discourse becomes bitter and unproductive. The ignore button is sometime a peace of mind tool. I use it sparingly, but I have used it.
