I think that there should be at least a five year requirement of hunting that a person must complete before becoming eligible to be on boards to make or alter hunting regulations.
About ten or twelve years ago I was going up to Orofino Idaho to help with long range shooting instruction. I was on the road that goes north through Ely Nevada
about five miles out of town. Nothing much there and looked somewhat like your camping area. I had decided to camp out instead of...
Well the OP said early on he wanted to make it structurally sound and a shooter again. I guess he did whether anybody liked it or not. His gun he can do what works for him.
I have bought a half dozen or so guns from members of this board and have always been satisfied with the purchase. Good people here. Always gave a good description of what they were selling.
As far as rust and bad bores goes, shoot whatever propellant you like but clean afterwards. Not...
Lawyers and insurance companies along with big business are running the country. They are all money driven machines and we are the one's that get to pay like it or not.

I have a living trust on all my property and my youngest son is the first trustee upon my demise. He wants to keep all my guns or I would have sold most of them off long ago. It's good to plan ahead.
I posted some pictures of a rifle that I had obtained a couple of years ago but I'll be darned if I can remember how I did it. Aging minds are a mystery.
I think that city folk and country folk by way of their raising use different language to express ideas. Where a person raised in a hunting family would probably use a different word for the processing of a dead animal from the kill to the butchering of same than a person that was raised in a...
Up in Northern Az While elk hunting near Winslow we would find native trash piles, ancient natives, and there would be tons of pot shards but precious few points or pieces of points. I always wondered about the lack of stone points in these places.
