Well, he bought it and sent it here for me to assemble it. I need to work on my sanding skills, but like rougher look anyhow. I still have the ramrod to finish yet. I will shoot it and zero it in tomorrow. Then will ship it to him

I would brush it out good, and let evaporust sit in the bore for a few days, and check it again. Pitted barrels are much harder to keep clean
