You will get a different kind of lock from L&R, much better built than the one you have. Don't worry about the number of holes etc.., the L&R locks are different internally and have have more parts. L&R is not going to work on your lock. It probably is just dried grease or worn parts, but you...

May I recommend that you go to the L&R web site and see if they have an RPL (replacement) lock for your rifle. You will be much better off going that route.
