I believe your getting a really good seal with the powder ,ball an wad. It creates gas and it creates the nice smoke ring.

Trade rifle build. I am going to start on my first build. I am going to practice first with my spoke draw knife first on another stock. I think though I may go for Iron furniture VS brass so I may trade this brass furniture off for Iron furniture.
