    Davy Crockett King Frontier

During the 1950's Crockett craze, there were neat-o souvenir items in the local five & dimes; keys to the Alamo on a card, other stuff, I'm sure someone has a collection of such stuff. I have a Log fort or cabin set with wood fencing from that period. Has Crockett on the box; about the only...

My latest daydream: A Kibler escopeta ...

I'm guessing Loyalist and the other importers have specific companies in India they work with?? Would be cool if someone got a contract and had a factory do a "run" of them to satisfy what seems to be a nascent demand for them! Who knew? Hope Veteran Arms, Loyalist, Middlesex, etc. are watching!;)

Fess Parker, was a really nice guy, had a Winery in CA in later years. Parker Vineyards, I think, died a few years ago. Good decent guy.

    Davy Crockett King Frontier

I loved the Disney Davy as a kid; never noticed things like I saw on TV recently; filmed in Florida where they're fightin' the Seminoles; the chief has a Plains Indian Buffalo-horn head-dress! Then Davey is wading thru water, at one point his horn goes into the drink! They ALL have horns that...

    What is the best book?

Auto supply stores sell a spray that will dissolve gunk; it's best used outdoors, can't think of the name off-hand, but it's formulated to dissolve all kinds of gunky gummy stuff. Wear a mask!

    Gun range lead concerns

In PA, ranges have a State law grandfathering them in. A sportsmen's association I know of way out in "the sticks" had newby housing come in and try to shut it down! It's still there. Another range I'm with recently had a major lead clean up of the shotgun ranges; lots of lead there! CA is one...

FOR SALE Hi hunter zouave .58

Zouaves just seem to be the perfect size! The replicas have gotten more mileage than the originals, which were never officially accepted or issued. Wonder how many were made back then? Many late 1950's- early 1960's guys got into re-enacting or shooting with them. I've handled a minty original...

    H&A Underhammer Pistol Wooden Grip

John Browning chose that angle! He was onto something! I seem to like mine as is; it's cool that the pistol is so simple, you can fool around with the grip easily! Good luck!
