    I like that! "Mythical Wal-Mart Caps"! 😆

    Kibler Brown Bess?

I'm pretty certain he gets a computer alert whenever his business is mentioned: then, he reaches for the Excedrin, as calls for this-musket-that-musket, here a 20 ga. Bess, there a Long Land, look out, now a 1728 French! Let the poor guy do what he does best, which is not getting involved in...

    Brass frame revolvers

I don't know about the parts quality, but purely for the "feel" in the hand, the Spiller is my fave!!

    R.Johnson model 1836

It's not a 'long range' pistol! Was meant for ship-deck or mounted close encounters; try it at 15 yds. and you'll see! 80 ft. is asking too much of it. Great that you actually got it 'working' again!! :)

    Possible gunpowder related tragedy

I keep any BP well away from the house, and am getting new Kidde fire extinguishers for the garage & shed; handy to have around the car, too. (One's in the trunk.)

SOLD - Pending funds USA CVA Mountain Rifle

The one I have sat in it's original shipping box since about 1980. The barrel was as pristine and un-touched since the day it left the factory. I assembled it, benefitting from the prep work done by the original owner on the wood stock area. It went together like a breeze; only thing missing was...

    R.Johnson model 1836

These guns are so darn handsome!! I was hooked by a cover of American Rifleman in 1962, was a pair of them there, the H. Astons or whatever. They are so beautifully classic and simple, I don't know why no maker ever reproduced them! Saw one recently for about 900, simply not in the market for...

SOLD - Pending funds USA CVA Mountain Rifle

My CVA bbl. is totally un-marked; was told by other details it may be Spanish, but the quality of rifling, etc., is very high. Is from 1980 period.

    anti-gun USPS

I recall getting in the mail, from CA, (EMF Co.) percussion revolvers in shipping boxes clearly marked, "Antique Pistol", back in the early 90's!!

    What is this musketty thing?

    H&A Underhammer Pistol Wooden Grip

Hi, Shade: That was 1st place I tried! But, I will look into the easy-to-get smg grips! Sounds like a possibility! The pistols look like something MacGyver would throw together in a pinch!! ;)

    Maximum loads for 1858 Remington

They say any black powder load that will fit in the cylinder is OK, from what I've read. Real BP, that is! Percussion revolvers are cool enough without having to compress anything, I'd say! But whatever floats your boat!

    H&A Underhammer Pistol Wooden Grip

Where can I get a replacement wood Grip for the H&A Underhammer Pistol .45? In the 60's some came with a plastic grip.

Hunting loads for my .58 black powder rifle
