    I bought a little rolling Block 22 long rifle years ago and refinished it the stock was filthy the metal rust all over. One friend said you destroyed the value another friend said beautiful job it looks like an original I'm very proud of it and I saved it from destruction

    I go with smooth shooter my frizzen toe was so pointed it was making resistance equal to or greater than the cock ! After smoothing it out with a dremel I now get at least two to three times the number of shots with one Flint

    Yes it's a military heritage pistol from India and the glass bedding is because sometimes they hog out the breach area so to reduce stress on the wood I bed that area for a better fit between metal and stock thanks for the compliments my cabin is in Georgia it's my home away from home

    I just got done redoing the Finish to a linseed oil reduce the springs on the lock recut The Seer glass bedded the barrel and lock plate and drilled the vent hole it's alive!!!!

    My dad had an old Thompson Center Hawken with a stock that look like Pine I brought it to the company 4 repair when they were still in business they put a 54 caliber Barrel on it and a beautiful Walnut stock no charge

    That residue is no joke! Years ago after cleaning I stood up my beloved Flinter on the butt the few drops that were left in the breach dripped out of the touch hole burned an ugly scar of oil finish off of my stock I had to redo the entire thing
