In another life I was from Trumbull, moved west in 79 don't get back much.

I use #5 Magnum hard shot for almost everything and 7.5's, for the rest.

This has been over year getting her to this point, I picked her up with one leg in the grave. To much to list here. But the last was finding an L & R lock installed. I wanted to go this far with a restore before spending the money on a high end kit. Learned alot more to go. Criticism welcome.

I use them, can't see any difference between round store purchased, and my square cut. I am petty dang sure, back in the day they were square cut.

Just finished glassing in the lock, so as to show a minima amount when looking at it, also plugged the trigger guard screw hole's with tooth picks,they were loose, real liking that Tight Bond II wood glue. Browning the trigger guard & screws with TOW Tried & True trigger guard came out nice...

That's what I was thinking, should have a nice look to it with some shooting an age.

I am AR about clean the firearms. Browning a few this how. We'll see.

I just unloaded my 50 CVA mountain rifle after 2 weeks with a load down the barrel, went bang first time. But I prepped it by firing two caps, then swabbing it out with -30 WWF, then dry patch, then the load. My own patch lube. Weather was bad during our Dec MLZ season, DOWN TO -18 never got...
