I won't be selling my H&A any time soon.......

I did also contact TOW via email, waiting for them to get back to me. One thing I did read is the metal they used in the locks was "soft" so replacing the whole lock might be the best option if one can be found that fits close enough.

I won't be selling my H&A any time soon.......

Had it out in the garage, set it up against my workbench turned to grab a screw driver and heard a crash. It had fallen over, the frizzen hit the concrete floor first. I've already searched the internet for a replacement frizzen with no luck which most likely means finding a lock that will...

If you were given a TC Hawken barrel, what would you do with it?

Basically do what you want. If you never get your money back out of it then what's the problem? Build it for your enjoyment. I have a couple of firearms I've refinished that I may never get the money out of them that I put in but I enjoyed doing it.

What would I ask for this?

Fair enough. My goal in refinishing it wasn't to make it pristine but to make it more of a "barn" gun, old and well used. The lock plate screws were the ones that originally came with it.

What would I ask for this?

If I really get serious about selling it then I might take your advice. That said I'm not a professional retailer looking to max out my potential profit by hiring a professional photographer (something I'm not) to take awesome pictures....... Besides I have to take pictures where I have room...

What would I ask for this?

Biggest issue is shipping, shipping my Fussil recently cost me $120.

What would I ask for this?

I believe it's American made but don't quote me on that. Numrich Arms, Hurley NY and G. Y. are stamped on top of the barrel which is 39". Bore is in excellent shape, sparks good.

What would I ask for this?

That's why I'm asking for honest assessments though the ones I did see sold after 2000 were in the $300 - 350 range and were percussion. Not that that matters all that much being it's an H&A but it gave me what I thought was a base.

What would I ask for this?

It is a .50 caliber, I checked it the other day.

    Thanks guys, appreciate the input.

What would I ask for this?

As I stated in my old Hopkins & Allen reworking thread I've finally finished it and am considering selling it. The only sold prices I can find are from the 20teens on un-customized Minuteman flintlocks and percussion models. So I'm trying to get a fair idea of what I might charge and yes I...

Hopkins & Allen Reworking, Stock Wood Question

I believe it's a .50 caliber. Bought it so long ago I forgot...... :) I am considering selling it but not sure what I would ask for it.

Hopkins & Allen Reworking, Stock Wood Question

I also made a side plate that actually covers the original side plate.

Hopkins & Allen Reworking, Stock Wood Question

Finally got around to finishing this project. The forestock was shaved down significantly and shaped, proper ramrod tubes installed and patchbox cover replaced. I refinished it with aqua fortis and ToTW's Linspeed Oil. I replaced the brass barrel pins with steel pins and some of the screws...
