    ASM 1851 navy hitting high

Pietta's are pretty good at fitting the barrel, arbor, and wedge. Uberti's always have a short arbor. Cylinder alignment are better on Uberti than on Pietta. Now Pietta is getting better fit on everything. My $0.02 worth. DL

    Hello From Texas

Brothers, I am getting some good vibes here. I dont do period dress, but would be more than happy to wear a straw hat and join you guys. I am more into revolvers and western style themes. Sounds like it could be fun for all of us. I am in. This is my last year to deer hunt, need something else...

    Question - Cimarron BP revolver

I have three '58 replicas, two are the smaller grip models and one is a big Pietta SS model. You will absolutely love it in BP and unmentionable BP cartridge. This is a word of caution on the unmentionable, remember this has a BP frame so go easy on the handloads. I would stick with BP...

If you dont have my address i will PM it to you again. I have 2 Bealls style '58's and one is factory and the other is a kit gun. One may be sacrificed...

    NEW Taylor’s “Ace” Pistol

Here is one I made up myself some years ago... in my garage!!! LOL 😀 😲😱😀. It was the first black powder revolver I ever owned. .36 caliber. Someone had already "customized"/iff'ed up the barrel, so I just shortened it some more, and rounded the grips. I cut the barrel to 2-3/4" IIRC. I...

    NEW Taylor’s “Ace” Pistol

Boosting sales is what its all about. No sales, no nothing. Just cause they offer it doesnt mean you have to buy it. I for one have my .36 Colt snubbie, which i love. Watched ole' Dave do a '58 snubbie on you tube and i have wanted one ever since. Hence my Colt .36 and .44 revolvers. Just cant...

Could use some help to identify knife maker

Thank you guys. I believe Dean Oliver it is. That would explain the RT on the sheath for River Traders. I also see track of the wolf carries them. I may order that Tiny French Knife for a patch knife. DL

Could use some help to identify knife maker

I have 2 knives by the same maker. One i have had for several years, the other i just bought 2 weeks ago. They are by the same maker but i dont know who. The wider blade i picked up at a flea market in the DFW area several year ago. The thinner one i got at Trade Days in Fredericksburg Texas...

    What did you do today

I do not haul them off. Feed them to my dogs. I have 10 pecan trees and 20 oak trees around my yard, 2 acres, and you would think they would go for the acorns. Noooooooo they go for the pecans first and my cardinal bird feeders. So i show no mercy. Soooo my Marlin model 60, CCI Mini Mag solids...

My brother you cant go wrong with 3" barrels either. First 2 pictures my 36 cal. The other is my 44 cal. Both have 3" barrels. Now the 44 i also have an 8" barrel for it, depends on my mood. Set this 3" 44 snubby off at dusk with 22 grns and a .454 rb and man what a light show. I love it. DL

Ahhh, now that makes sence. I see the stock mounting screws. I never had a revolver with a shoulder stock either. I guess i am missing out on a lot.
