Anything besides a centerfire rifle/shotgun. I forgot to mention rimfire weapons are prohibited as well.

Michigan Muzzleloader season any weapon goes.

Missouri went to an "alternative methods season" a few years ago... it used to be muzzleloader season, but... I guess times change. For this new season you can use any weapon EXCEPT centerfire rifle/shotgun. Pistols, in-lines, air guns, flint, cap, bow, crossbow, spears, etc.

Best way to unload after an unsuccessful hunt?

I left my .54 Kibler colonial loaded after late muzzleloader season for 4 months. Put a feather into the touch hole to keep out moisture, etc. Went to the range match in the spring, pulled the feather, primed and it went off without any issues. Think I might have even hit the bullseye with...

    Two feathers in the hospital

I found out yesterday that Two Feathers is in Geisinger hospital in Danville. He fell a few days ago hasn't been doing well since. I don't know if he has computer access as I got this information from a family member. Please join me in wishing Dave a speedy and full recovery. God bless, Rodd

    Weighing round balls

For .440 and smaller, I segregate by .5 gr. .530 and bigger, by 1 gr.

    Weighing round balls

Either plastic cups or bowls. Anything that will keep them separated until I find the average weight on the high end.

    Weighing round balls

I start weighing them and put them into the different weight categories and throw the lighter ones back into the pot.

    Weighing round balls

I had trouble with consistency with Hornady. 440 balls in the past... some as high as 40% being -2 gr off average. I weigh whenever I get a chance and write on the outside of the box the Ave. weight.
