    Muzzleloading after Cataract Surgery

That is good to know. I plan to ask my doctor on the 15th. Right now he won't even let me play golf. 😄 I am hoping that the sights and targets will clear up in the next few weeks. I am not a patient person as my wife keeps telling me.

    Muzzleloading after Cataract Surgery

I recently had cataract surgery on both eyes. So far the vision is improving as my eyes heal. The doctor tells me it may be several weeks before the vision settles in. I opted for the multifocal lenses hoping not to have to wear glasses at all except for very fine print. My question for...

    How old are ya?

72 years old. Started shooting 22s at 9 years old. I was on the 4-H shooting team for a few years. Joined the Army in 1970 and qualified with the M-16, M-60 out of a helicopter and got to shoot an M79 and a 105 howitzer. After Vietnam, I didn't shoot guns for a while. It wasn't until about...

Went Hunting and Left my .54 loaded for 3 days

Here is something I have never experienced before. I went hunting Thursday afternoon and did not shoot anything. I left my .54 cal John Bergmann loaded until Sunday afternoon. Decided to shoot out the charge since I was not going to be able to hunt again in the foreseeable future. A friend...

WITHDRAWN Left Hand .50 cal T/C Renegade for Sale or Trade

Price drop after Christmas. I bought this from Big Sky Rambler for my wife but she didn't like it due to the weight. She is a small lady. Just trying to get my money back to help fund another Kibler or a Hawken kit.

Petrolum products and black powder fouling....a chemical analysis.

Like you I use Bore Butter to season and preserve the barrels in my 6 muzzleloaders and 4 Shiloh and C. Sharps rifles. When I don't shoot for a long time, I check the barrels for corrosion. Works well for me. I used to use it on my round ball patches but started using TOW mink oil the last...
