How tough would a 495 ball be to load in my 50cal T/C Hawken

Eric,I also had a Renegade .50 kit that I could hardly pound the ball down!! {.495} Almost made me quit shooting.Always tell beginners to start with the smaller ball/ patch combo. As they get more experienced they can play with the best combos.

    T/C Pa Hunter

Thats not original, somebody's cheesey idea to make it cool.Only other reason for it would be to shim the barrel,if for some reason it was loose.I'm sure it will come right off,if you want it off.Good thing is, it looks like you got a very clean, very nice TC.

Yes, a picture would help our speculation. My guess is it is a Thompson Center Hawken, they had quite a few oddball limited edition runs.

    SOLD TC Peep Sight

Its for any TC with octagon barrel, except Seneca and Cherokee. It has a flat base, the peeps for New Englanders have a curved base. The New Englanders peep can be used on the Hawkens,Renegade after you flatten the base.Seneca and Cherokee have their own downsized peep.
