    Dixie or Track of the Wolf won't have any Browning parts.But they should have something in the form of a rib that would work.A hollow rib would be nice as those Rifles weigh enough already!

    TC Hawken Restoration

    Have restored plenty with factory hot glue shimming up parts. Scrape it out,put some JB Weld down,SaranWrap and push the part down to the desired depth.When cured the SaranWrap will peel off the JB Weld,Walla!

    Ron,is that his Economy or Deluxe Soule sight? Do you like it, his economy sights seem like a good deal. Is it good for hunting? Can't use irons anymore and need a sight for Hunting and long range target work. Thanks.

    Look up Don Stith,he has Hawken small caliber rifle kits. The Hawken boy's did make these rifles in their time.

    So Sheriff John did you break any main springs on your Browning? No problems with mine but I don't shoot it much. I would like to find a extra tho.

    GPR Improvements

    Don't look the greatest but I always put a piece of electrical tape over the wedge when hunting. Easy to put on and take off.

    Yes, same as older Winchokes.I like the winchokes better they have a knurled top so you can screw them in and out by hand.

    Neatsfoot Oil

    I have also heard that Snow Seal will rot your boots thread.I have only used it on raw knife sheaths with no problems,gives them a nice dark brown color.I melt mine then apply with rag and toothbrush the seams.Buff off the excess and you are good to go.

    Browning Mtn Rifle

    They were built for Browning, by a small company in Utah. Look up Midway's Larry Potterfields stories. The Browning rifle worked out pretty good for him and his dad!
