Used my CVA pistol this month. Been a while since I used it so I thought I could use the practice. I need more practice. Nessmuk with CVA pistol .45 cal. Goex 3F power 20 gr. .015 patch with ballistol/water mix. Score = 15.

Is this some kind of set trigger? What is the barrel length?

How heavy is too heavy?

I have two bags, one for flint and one for percussion. All I have to do is change out the roundballs. I have one horn, everything I shoot uses Goex 3F. I try to keep it simple.

This gun was the 2011 Jacobsburg Society raffle rifle. A fly is not required on a gun with a single trigger. I suppose as the lock was being tuned it was deleted to keep it all as a Schimmel would have been -despite using a production lock. Single or double trigger, it does not matter, the fly...

Gary: Targets are printed. Assuming the temp doesn't get up to 110 and the monsoon rain doesn't get too bad I think I will try for a trifecta this month. One target with the pistol, rifle, and smoothbore. I just have to remember to shoot them.
