    I tend to KISS powder lubed fiber wad shot card prime & shoot. but then each gun is different, so maybe a card between the powder & fiber wad will give better results for you. Or some other combo. ..

    I shoot my 24 bore fusil with a bare ball .58" bore (nominal dimension, I've never measured it) .575 roundball 0 patch half of an over-powder fiber wad between powder and ball, the other half on top. ..

    Byron, Looks like a real beauty! I shoot a 24 bore fusil myself. 75 gr 2f, half a fiber cushion wad, bare ball and the other half wad. Sure make the gongs ring! Haven't killed anything bigger than a tom turkey so far, used #5 shot for that. Best of luck. Post some more pics when you get 'er...

    I ask because my smoothie is a 24 bore. I use a .570 ball between 2 felt wads, no patch. Thought a .55 might work with a loobed patch. I know Jeffs single cavity moulds are sprue-cutter-les. Was not sure about multi cavity ones. ..
