    Possible scammer

Thanks. That's some good suggestions. I've had 2 other people reach out to me so I'll try them and see how it works out.

    Possible scammer

Be careful of a member named TerryG. He said he knew someone selling a 50 cal Traditions Kentucky rifle. I sent that person an email and through several emails I ended up sending him $140 as a down payment. I still have not gotten the rifle nor any shipping info and have filed a fraud complaint...

I'm checking to see what might be available. PM me description, any pictures and price. Changed my mind so disregard this posting.

    Wood Stock

Well I've pretty much given up on getting a wood stock for my CVA Bobcat since I've painted the synthetic stock so that it looks like wood.

    Over powder wad lube

Because I've read several other posts saying that accuracy is improved when using an over powder wad

    Over powder wad lube

I just ordered some .54 cal 1/8" thick dry wads to use in my .50 cal Bobcat. I bought dry so I could either use dry OR one of my own homemade lubes. My lubes are a moose milk mixture of 50% Ballistol 45% water and 5% alcohol. My other lube is a mixture 50% beeswax and 50% olive oil. Which lube...

    50 cal CVA Bobcat loads

This is mainly for those MLers with the same or similar 50 cal 26" barreled CVA Bobcat. I have the following components for my Bobcat to test: .490 and .495 RB, .010 and .015 patches and Triple7 FFF powder. I know every MLer, even if the same manufacturer and model, may like different loads but...

    Farmers/shooters/hunters

Yeah I found one in New Castle that I'm going to check out in a couple of days

    50 cal loads

I forgot to mention that I have both .490 an .495 RB and .015 pillow ticking and Triple 7 FFF powder.

    50 cal loads

I know every ML is different as to what they like but if you happen to have a 50 cal Bobcat I'd be interested in knowing what RB and hunting loads you use plus what hunting bullets you use. Thanks

    Wood Stock

Talked to them several times and none available any where. Going to go with putting on a base coat of Krylon fusion satin khaki and then use something called ALCOHOL INKS to hopefully make it look like wood and then 2-3 coats of gloss sealer. Something like what this guy did.

    Farmers/shooters/hunters

Any of these in or near the Anderson/Muncie areas?

    Wood Stock

Question. Does anyone know what other model CVA is exactly the same as a CVA Bobcat? I'm still trying to found a wood stock for my Bobcat.

    ID Scope Mount

I'll get it sorted out. Just have to find the right rail and where to get one.

    ID Scope Mount

Now I remember that a standard rail was called a 1913. Found what I should have ordered.

    ID Scope Mount

Thanks for the info. I'm not going through all that work plus I don't have a way to do any grinding. I've contacted the seller to either return it OR if he has a regular rail that's flat on the bottom just exchange it. I guess I should have done more research in what MLOK forend meant.
