I agree. I think .016 is wrong. I thought I had read some where that the groove depth for a GPR was .012. I'll have to recheck.

    WITHDRAWN Pedersoli Tryon Target model

If it had a slower twist I'd be interested. Also I'd be a little concerned about what looks like pitting at the muzzle

    Muzzle loading experts

Are there any ML experts here who knows what the measurements of the lands and grooves are for the .50 cal Investarm Gemmer Hawken are. I know the bore is probably .500-.501 but you need the other 2 figures to know what's the best size round ball and patch to use.

Been there but they don't have any bore specs for the .50 cal Investarm Gemmer Hawken. Sent emails to both Investarm and Muzzle-loader asking for the bore specs

I agree. Right now I'm trying to get some info on what the depth of the groves are i.e. shallow .008-.010 or deep .012-,016 and with there being an odd number, 5. of lands and groves one can't do the standard. I am thinking that since GPR have .012 deep groves this one may be the same.

Need some help and opinion to make a decision of 3 Muzzleloader rifles

I am leaning more towards the Underhammer kit, .50cal 1X36" Green Mountain barrel. I think once it's finished, if I do my part, it will be a $800+ ML

Need some help and opinion to make a decision of 3 Muzzleloader rifles

Actually there isn't that much to do. I'm paying those at Pecatonica Rifle to do everything to the barrel so that all I have to do is maybe polish it some and then brown and put on sights. The stock forearm is already inletted for the barrel and the butt stock looks like it would just need a...

Pedersoli Cabelas Blue Ridge percussion rifle?

That's what I was saying. It's not like the ones reviewing the Pedersoli Blue Ridge were amateur shooters. Plus it was 100 yards not 10 LOL

Pedersoli Cabelas Blue Ridge percussion rifle?

Hi. I also looked at and did a little research of this .54 Pedersoli being carried by Cabelas. One thing I look for is accuracy and 4-5" groups at 100yds are not that good. Granted that's a long ways but there are other MLs that can that in half. I'm looking elsewhere but that's just my opinion...

    .50 cal round Ball

This is a toss up. 1) .50 cal Lyman Great Plains rifle for $672 or 2) .54 cal Lyman Signature Series for $805? That's $133 difference between the 2
