    Travelling from Albuquerque to Flagstaaff

Thanks for the info. We are looking for land. A realtor sent us some examples of 30-40 acre lots of scrub brush and nothingness. Something for my wife and I to use to put a summer cabin up and do some shooting. Hopefully we can find something with a well on it. Anywhere between the two...

flintlock ignition trouble what do you think please help.

This may sound crazy but, have you checked for double balling? Maybe not enough powder getting down to vent hole? do you have ramrod to check if there's anything in the bottom of the bore (a line on stick to show loaded or not)? I am not sure if you are getting a 'spark' or not. You say...

Fairly new to muzzleloader's - Having loading issues - Help appreciated

Try this: link: polishing bore duelist 1954 is pretty good. I followed this procedure and I went from shooting 2 balls to 7 balls without swabbing, doing the same loads and loading process as before polishing. (I had uneven spots in the bore and now it's pretty smooth all the way down.)

    I love my wife!

I guess being an Anthony is lucky. My wife and I are going on 47 years. She let me buy a Dragoon and a LeMat so she choose a stainless steel percussion snub nose 44; she calls it her "Dick Tracy gun". She can hit steel at 18 yards and loads BP, wad, and RB as fast as I can. She also wanted...

What Muzzleloading Stuff Did You Do Today?

Went to range with my new .50 Hawken Woodsman by traditions, percussion. Using 60 gr of 2F, with .015 patch and .454 RB; .010 and 480 RB; .020 and .451 RB, it was fun figuring out which worked best. I had to clean bore after second shot and felt a tightness about 2/3 down the bore then less at...

Polishing the bore on a new ML.............

Duelist1954 had a youtube on bore polishing because he only got 2/3 shots before he had to run a cleaning patch. I got COVID in December so I got some red scotch pads from ACE hardware and used one inch square patches with small jag, ran several patches up and down 250 times. Went out to...

    shipping revolvers

I joined 'stamps.com'. I packed the revolver. Weighed the box. Put postage and type of mail. Put in box receptacle at PO. Got to Texas destination in 5 days. Did the same for revolver cylinders. Only bad thing is now I have a monthly fee on Stamps.com. Need to terminate the subscription...

    Shipping Percussion Revolver?

I recently sold a Remington Texas brass model. I got an app that supplies stamps and postage labels for packages. I bubble-warpped the revolver and, I think, double boxed it. Put the postage label with cost on the box; dropped it at the USPS drop box. Buyer got it in 6 days. My...

    Unloaded muzzleloader at the range?

I go to a county range where the head RSO knows about BP shooting. When he sees my wife and I arrive, he tells all the RSOs to watch how we load, prime, cap and shoot. They also ask if we are ready to stop before blowing cease fire. We also show the RSOs how to see that the pan is empty...

One Long Gun And One Handgun

I would take my double barrelled rifle (not a kodiak, got it at a pawn shop and trying to find out what it is) and, for defense, my cavalry LeMat with 9 shots and 20 gauge. Otherwise, my '61 Navy colt for feel, balance and reliability.

    Anyone travel to Italy?

I've been to those places with the wife. Both of us got into BP after trip and during covid. She's also interested in taking a trip to Northern Italy to see Milan and the Alps. These companies are east of Milan,, a good side trip.

    Anyone travel to Italy?

Has anyone ever thought about travelling to Northern Italy to Pietta, Uberti, and Pedersoli? I am increasing getting interested in flying over and see the companies that make replications. Would they ever sell directly to me? Or let me buy and they ship to my home? Just thinking out loud.
