    Let’s see them hunting knives

I’m currently refinishing the handle on a knife that my grandfather made and the blade is remarkably similar in size and shape to this one! It had to be over 50 years old at least. Might have been used for killing hogs.

    Last of the Mohicans Rifle

I forgot it had the wrap around the wrist area. Anyone have a closer photo of that side of the stock and wrist area?

This has probably been asked before

If I fire a shot out of mine, I’ll do a quick field clean until I get home for a proper cleaning. I wouldn’t shoot, reload and leave it loaded after the hunt. That might cause problems for you.

This has probably been asked before

New BP Shooter, I have a double barrel Pedersoli shotgun currently loaded with ten 00 Buck pellets in one side and a patched .690” lrb in the other side. The last trip hunting was over two weeks ago. I will use it this coming weekend, hopefully. As others have said, it’ll work when you need...

I actually did a little research on them after seeing your photo. Slick little design. If it ever needs a safe adopted home…

    Happy Saturday Evening!

I didn’t get a chance to go sit in the stand yesterday, but hopefully I’m going Wednesday. I did continue working on a new powder horn for myself for squirrel hunting.

    Ramrod Stripes

I have a 150 year old Belgian Muzzleloading shotgun with a ramrod that the owner made as a replacement. It has faint stripes like you mention; I’ve studied and wonder how he did it. I was thinking he taped it then lightly hit it with a propane torch to lightly darken the grain. I’m interested...

Regular misfires with Pietta .36 revolver

I use Gorilla Grease on the nipple threads of my revolvers, shotguns and rifles. A little dab will do you.

    SOLD DOUBLE BALL BAG

Great work sir! I really like the way you designed the plugs so the shooter can easily tell the difference.

    Kibler Colonial #6

It’s beautiful! I’ve learned much more from my mistakes and failures than from my successes with my projects.

    Who ever discovered aqua fortis...

Now, that’s smart! How did you get it to blend? I’ve never worked with aqua fortis; can you thin it or hand rub it? Tom A. Hawk, that rifle is stunning! Did you carve the stock and do all of the inlay work?
