    Two virgins at the range!

Shadowwalker...I'll post something. I'll be making smoke at a buddy's ranch and I will be shooting offhand at steel plates and plastic pop bottles, so no pictures of tight groups. I will be attempting to conquer the flash pan flinch rather than trying for precision. Stay tuned.

    Two virgins at the range!

I'll be de-virginifying myself with a flintlock on Saturday. I hope I'll shoot half as good as you! Good shooting.

    Why a smoothbore?

Mr Raby, I was only joking about getting banned, half joking about tar/feathers! I have been enjoying people's comments. I'm fairly new to the BP world and am trying to pick up as much knowledge as I can. I think a smoothbore is in my future but first I have to master my new (to me) flintlock...

    Ontario

You are partly correct regarding Stittsville's membership...they are not accepting on-line memberships. In person or by phone (good luck reaching them by phone) they are accepting new shooters. If you want to shoot handguns, you will have to complete a safety course prior to joining the club...

    Ontario

I'll be joining the Stittsville Shooting club as soon as I find time to go for my handgun safety course...within a week or two. If you want, we could meet up sometime in Stittsville and make some smoke.

    Why a smoothbore?

This question may get me banned for life from this forum or even tarred and feathered, but here goes. Why do you guys shoot smoothbores? I can think of a few reasons but would love to hear your's. I'm fairly new to BP (3 years) and the only smoothbores I have ever fired were modern shotguns...

What Muzzleloading Stuff Did You Do Today?

I woke up this morning and installed a new flint on my new (to me) T/C Hawkin .50 This afternoon I went to Cabela's for .495 balls, patches and flintlock tools. Then I went to the nearest shooting club and signed up for membership since I just moved into this area after being away for 40 years...

    Where is there powder?

springfield art... The Canadian gouv can make some really bonehead decisions, but I do not blame them for the shortage of perc caps and black powder. I'm fairly certain that supply chain problems are at fault. Hopefully the world can solve it's problems and we can all go back to making all the...
