sounds to me like its the wrong spring for that lock.

why dont you try it before you do anything to it.

What do yu mean by regulate?

Go to an archery shop and ask for replacement fiber optics fora sight. They come in different thicnesses so pick whats best for you.

i shoot .451 balls out of my 45cal smr with a .023 pillow ticking patch. once its started it loads like any other and it shoots sub 1" 5 shot groups at 50yds. its all i shoot. years ago i shot .403 balls in my 40cal. all green mtn barrels.

when using a peep sight like this are u leaving the rear sight on the rifle?

i put this sight on a couple weeks ago and am very pleased at how well i can see my front sight in any light condition. It should be great for hunting.

it is located between the tumbler and the lock plate on the smr. hard to see it without dis assembling the lock and be careful while taking it apart as its easy to loose.

I always clean the oil from my rifle with alcohol but the last couple times i decided to soak a patch with alcohol and shove it down the barrel on top the breech and retrieve it with a puller after wiping...
