I hear ya, sight in with bench rest, then always try to use shooting sticks in field when feasable. Big fan of shooting sticks, just not as steady as I used to be. The jackrabbit shoot sounds fun, if we had them, would be nothing left of a cottontail and would be a waste of good meat!

I use .570 PRB and 80 be of 2f.....it works for me. I have Zoli Zouave as well.

I really never thought about changing the sights on my Zouave. Just kept my shooting distance at a comfortable range, not more than 50 yrs or so. I may have to reconsider though.

The sights on my Zouave are not great either, but I have found that a PRB shoots much better than mini's. I've managed two deer with it albeit many years ago. My Zouave is an Antonio Zoli if I recall correctly.

I like it, never have I seen a combination tool that went together as well as your loading block/powder measure. Might I suggest a loading block made like yours with a powder measure of antler. Just thinking out loud. Nice work!
