Can we talk breach loaders here?

You can still load it from the muzzle I guess so it is fair game IMO.

Cow elk with a .50 flinter and rb

Easy. Don't read the print on the barrel.

    Lead balls have casting imperfections

Nothing wrong with those. Hornady and Speer sell swaged balls to impress the city folk.

    Trade Pistol?

I would imagine that the natives preferred a hawk or a good blade for close in work.

SOLD PC SHORT STARTER + TURN SCREW

I know these ball starters are really nice. I bought two of these from him a year or two ago and they are really comfortable to use and are not needlessly bulky.

    FP hawken

I emailed Williams that question a few months ago asking the thread size of the screw. Below is their response sans name and phone extension. Because of their response I ordered a #28 and drill bit off ebay. That is an 8-40 mounting screw. Best Regards, Customer Service Williams Gun...

    Pedersoli woes....

Pedersoli is getting too much money for their product for them to produce lemons like that IMO.

    Sabots

What Muzzleloading Stuff Did You Do Today?

Good shooting. The target is interesting though. Never seen one that encourages Texas heartshots.

Leaving pellets in muzzleloader - how long?

Keep your powder dry and you should be good to go. Not sure about the rabbit turds though.

How tight to patch a ball

I am no expert but I always heard that a lot of .58s are made for conicals or minies and have shallow grooves to work better with them. So, less room for a thick patch.

Front globe sight adjustment Lyman Deerstalker

Brass punch directly to the dovetail area. Do not tap the globe.

    T/c trigger gaurd,

I like the hook myself. Are the TC and Investarms guards interchangable? I need something more filling on my GPR and if a TC part fits I might see if I could put a TC part on the GPR.
