    I take it down to 400 grid, then use Brasso and finer paper until it looks like furniture.

    Made my own. I used a wool scarf I found at Goodwill for $5, and fuzzy lining from the fabric store, and tied it all together with yarn from the same store. Took a few hours to tie it all together, and even has fringe.

    Same as the rifle, sprue up, you can see it, center it, and I bet to dont matter either way. Its just what Ive done for decades.

    Every time I look local I see dark wax. Over at Cast Boolits, Randy Rat sells the best grade wax Ive found. Got so much, dont know if he still sells, but would be worth the look.

    Please dont use petro based oil, it just gums stuff up. Been my lube since day one. 1lb Bee's wax 1lb Lard 4-6oz cornola oil. More in winter, less in summer.

    Daughter and grand daughter have raided all my photo albums. I gave my little bro all the pics I had from the 60s with him in them. My flintlock goes to the grand boy. But he is gonna have to wait for it. Told the medium woman to keep what she wants, and sell the rest.

    Bullet mold for a IAB Sharps???

    Second the slugging the bore. Then I had a custom postel mold made. 360-540gr, hollow base, and 2 wraps of NO.9 onion. About $140 from a guy in Canada, and about a months wait.
