    muzzleloader cal .22 possible?

You quit doing stupid things when you were young? I still occasionally wonder what in the heck was I thinking!

    muzzleloader cal .22 possible?

Not only is there a big chance of breaking a ramrod that small, I think a rifle would foul so quickly, that one would have to clean between each shot. I would think 4f and about 10 gr. Swiss would be close a max charge.

Are there any clubs close to Jonesborough TN

There is a club in Gregory Township, AR, but I know little about it. It is about a 2-1/2 hr drive. I little over 3 hrs. if you want to take the scenic route.

    New guns from Pedersoli.

I wish there wasn't so much background noise. I could barely hear them talk!

    First shots with flintlock

Well, I'm very familiar with Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, but then I'm ex-military!

The fact is, I can't repeat it! I bet you do know what I meant, though!

    First shots with flintlock

I'm a little behind the times on acronyms. Okay, WTG means "way to go". Do you have any idea what I first thought BFF meant?!

Same observation as yours, the patch on the left has blow-by, the right patch is just fine. What is the thickness of your patches? What is your lube? What diameter ball are you shooting? I agree about the young gentleman, and his grin! I invited a friend and his kids to shoot my smoke poles...

Lubricated Wads Contaminating Black Powder or Substitute

I quit shooting C&B a long time ago. I had a Ruger, it is high quality, but just didn't cotton up to the modern sights. A friend of mine swears by paper cartridges in his 1851.

    Shipping a Muzzleloader?

Today, I would not have a gun shipped USPS. I bought a gun from a member here, and it 2 months to arrive! I have had other mail take VERY long times. I am currently waiting on a special wrench that has been sitting somewhere for 2 weeks.

How about ballistics tests of ammunition under controlled conditions and parameters? Do you, or have you ever purchased ammunition based on the penetration depth of 9mm?

    Louisiana bayou country

Welcome from Arkansas. I have relatives in Lafayette. You can keep your skeeters, and humidity! The first time I visited there, I had a nightmare they were launching from the flightdeck of an aircraft carrier! We have skeeters here, but damn!

    Travel with Flintlock Rife

My Kibler SMR with the 46" barrel will not fit today's cars. A 1960 Cadillac maybe, but they don't make those anymore. You need a SUV or a full sized pick up!
