There are different brands of BP. This is still a free country. Whatever floats your boat.

If you've ever seen the size of the granules in the bagged powder of naval guns, it's easy to see why they use black powder to generate the heat.

I used Watco Danish oil finish on my T/C walnut stocks.

Swiss is the best, but, the most expensive. I found I can reduce the charge by at least 10% over Goex. However, Goex is good powder, and I'm sure the new owner will be just as good, or maybe even better.

I have a tin. It's gooder than snuff!

Some of us have the equipment, and the necessary space to make our own powder, many do not. I welcome the return of USA made BP!

It was sometime in the early 1990's. After I bought my stock, I didn't have much time to get out and shoot because of my very demanding engineering job. All of my powder is in metal cans.
