I have a partial can of Pyrodex Select I have had for 20+ years. It has maybe a dozen or 20 shots from it and was put up. Always been in a climate controlled home with temps in the 65-70° range. I know it's more of a shoot it and see type scenario but wondering if the general consensus is it...

Or some JB bore paste mixed with Kroil. Remington 40X bore cleaner may help as well as it has some very fine abrasive in it.

Rebore time. Cheaper than another barrel that may well be in the same or worse shape than what you have.

New, straight, rifled. Would be used on deer and hogs if hunted. Otherwise just something big so I can flex my muscles so to speak.

I am thinking about a larger caliber bore on a new barrel. I would be using a 1" barrel as that is what my current TC Hawken with GM barrel is set up for. My question is, what is the largest caliber suggested for use in a 1" barrel?
