Yes Sir, that's what I was pointing out... there is no & symbol on this knife, so is probably not a Schnitzler & Kirschbaun.

Schnitzler & Kirschbaun marked their blades with an "S & K" stamp. I don't believe I ever saw where the "&" character was not included at any time in their productions, however, I am not 100% certain they didn't at one time. Just sharing what I do know.

Not a can of black powder sold within hundreds of miles from me... When I go on line however, and check out places like Grafs, I see they are fully stocked with the decent brand Schuetzen. I bought a case of their 3F a few weeks ago for about 23 bucks per can. I just checked their site again...

@rick1964 has a fully built and tuned Pecatonica Trade Gun for a good price that may be still available. I almost bought it myself, if I didn't already buy another.

I think "they" are also very concerned about stray sparks from the flash pan sending innocent bystanders to the Grossman Burn Center... Flintlocks, for one, have got to go!!!

I have a Lee 3 cavity mold in .535 for my .56 smoothbore. I see the 2 ball and 3 ball molds are pretty easy to aquire on the web stores in case you don't score one on here.

I saw that very same carved Canoe Gun on this page below: www.speakingcedar.com/in-depth-northwest-guns.html It shows a lot of various Canoe Guns on there as well. The gun was carved by Northwestern Coastal indians for sure.

I received my order the other day, and everything was of good quality. I checked the time between my order confirmation and when I received it, and it was 29 days (basically a month). I will do business with them again, but I just wish they would have sent me the rest of my order and not let...

Looks like your Canoe gun lost it's butt in a poker game... 😆 Seriously, I love your long gun! I can't tell if your barrel is browned and rubbed down or if it is just bare steel? Any way you could post better pic of that fine gun? If it is too much trouble, don't worry about it. I have one...
