Looks like the Log Cabin Shop has had a data breach

So just by visiting LCS site will cause these problems? or just when you order?

    Bulk lead source on line???

Yes, it's a good amount of lead and I paid a small fortune for it, but I have been selling what I don't need and putting it into "useable" assets. Lead will not get cheaper, nor will it get more available. I can sure use it and if need be, it will be great for barter or trade.

    Bulk lead source on line???

My 3,000# order of lead and shot was shipping the day I ordered it! Unfortunately, it has sitting in a holdover point in MT for many days now. I assume it must sit and wait until more loads build up before a truck will come this way. I hope I get it before the lead expires and goes stale lol!

Carolina Gun build / canoe length

Not sure when the reference of "canoe gun" started, but a very similar style, having been around since Europeans traded guns with the tribes, was a "horseback gun". I am not sure the average length that was preferred for the canoe gun, but horse guns tended to get way on the short side. I...

Carolina Gun build / canoe length

I guess I will be president of the Northern Plains Chapter of the "R. Miller Smoothbore Brigade"... We can all meet up every year for a Buffalo feast and little fine bourbon. We will start out the event with our Trade Guns in the air and fire a volley. Yea... I like where this is going...

    Building yet another NW gun

Yes! @Berta Newton Thank you very much for spending your time helping spread around your Dad's great wisdom. I have done web searches for his book at times, only to find nothing. And thank you too Rob for being such a good "Middle Man" 😁

    Flintlock from my dad.

I know one thing... it's a good looking rifle. I would stick a light in the barrel to make sure there is no major pitting, then I would swap out the flint for a fresh one, and I'd go shoot that thing. Your Dad would want you to shoot it and enjoy it, and keep it living on...

    Building yet another NW gun

That sounds real fine and all Rob, but if you came back in 6 months and everyone was building their own guns... you might have to work part time at the local Piggly Wiggly 🤣

    First NW trade gun build

You know... that's a real fine job my friend, and the only criticism I have on it is that I have never seen a trade gun so "blonde" like that before. IMO, if you darken that baby up a fair bit, it will be mint! Just my personal opinion, but other than that, I congratulate you good fellow!!!

    What powder is better?

I agree that Schuetzen makes Graf... My question , however, is if Graf and Schuetzen powder are an identical match. What's the point of Graf rebranding Schuetzen powders when they sell Schuetzen powders??? Why is Graf powders cheaper than Schuetzen powders? ...I mean, they are identical...

    What's up with October Country?

    >>>PLEASE READ THIS POST<<< Even tough I still regret creating this post, it has certainly helped shed a lot of light... I have now learned that: - They only have 4 employees currently. - They make a lot of handmade and unique items. - @Brazos John may have been the root cause of...

    Range and Cleaning Rod suggestions...

Yep, I definitely want a one piece rod for the range, however, I also want a take town cleaning rod (12" section or so) that I can always keep on the bottom of my shooting box.
