I have a CVA Mountain Rifle in .58. It has two triggers, the back one sets the front one. I'd like to have just one trigger, does any one offer a drop in replacement ? Did CVA offer this rifle with a one trigger setup?

I found a .45 Hawken that had the butt cut and a recoil pad put on. Anyone have a stock to sell?

What do you mean 'worn' with the vent screw? Does it come out? Does the nipple come out?

I've had similar troubles with a T/C New Englander. Compare the size of the flash hole in the nipple to another brand, I needed a slightly larger hole to carry enough flash through the channel to the powder. Once I got the larger hole in there things worked like I wanted.

I bought this new a few years ago and have shot it slightly. Everything is clean and comes apart like they should. It's a 5 inch barrel. I shot a .454 ball through it. $300.00 shipped in conus PM me for payment

I'm sorry for not saying the rifle is a 1-48 twist with the shallow rifling that T/C used a lot

The Lyman boolit was too tight for my T/C High Plains Sporter, it dropped from the mold at .508. I bought a plain base mold from NOE for the .500 S&W that drops .504 and it shoots lights out and you don't have to hammer it in. It's listed as a .502-404-SWC. Mine weigh in at 410gr out of straight...
