    Tulle

Older tulle I built back in the day. Waiting on the barrel to brown after reattaching the lug that had popped loose. Always liked the pattern of this walnut.

Pedersoli Percussion Kentucky Longrifle .50 - My Experience

That was my first flintlock back in the 80's. Think I ordered it from Navy Arms. Not sure what type of wood it was but it was really pretty. Almost translucent.

What Muzzleloading Stuff Did You Do Today?

Found out apparently I suck at soldering. Done years ago and when I pulled it off the wall to dust it off noticed the barrel loose at the end.

Are you talking about the mini series with Robert Conrad ? I tried finding that one a couple months back but couldn't find a place streaming it.

    Due for a good film

I think the period films come out in year cycles. My opinion it started with Drums along the Mohawk, Jeremiah Johnson in the 70's, I even liked Mountain Men with Charleston H. Then we saw Last of the mohicans with DD Lewis, The patriot which got dumped on but I liked, Black Robe. Any more I...

    Indian trade silver

There use to be a company I think was called Indian Trade Silver? They had a big selection of brooches, crosses and pendants out of nickel silver. I guess they are no longer in business

    Browning not taking

Having a problem with a section of a buttcap not taking the cold browning. Its in a steam room, tried degreasing, fine sanding, rough sanding. Tried all day. Looks like its has taken but when wiped off it comes off like paint. Gonna leave it over night and see if it takes.

SOLD - Pending funds 100% Wool Bushcrafter ANORAK

I had one from Empire Wool and Canvas. It was heavy-duty and super thick. Too thick for missouri. Have one from Asbell Wool that I wear out on the trapline. It looks about like the one above.
