    I had a double Pedersoli rifle many years ago and tried firing both barrels from just one rear sight. While not two shots touching, the shots were only about 1 1/2 inches apart. I hunted with that sight. Some states demand only a single barrel rifle.

    Very well done and and instructed. I wonder, if it has a stainless steel touch hole liner, would you take that out (removing the lock) to drop in powder? I realize that there are more small parts to lose, but wouldn't it prevent powder slipping tween the barrel and the lock to the rifles...

    Because there is a 54 and a 45. Target competition means a larger ball to cut lines, and also I found the 54 more accurate. The 45 uses less powder and lead but does pretty much what the 54 is too big to do. The 50 might be the medium of the often used larger calibers, but usually a 45 or 54...
