They are different than the standard in the pull is straight back not sideways. I was skeptical but they work and are my go to cappers. Their star capper works with tap caps as well. I set the caps with a dowell on revolvers and my thumb on rifles out of habit anyways.

I shoot .454 roundballs and .457 conicals(kerrs)in the pietta 58's. No reaming or chamfering and don't feel the need to they shoot pretty good as is for me.

35 to 40 under roundballs is what I like as well. Usually 30 to 35 under conicals seems to be where I like it.
