Grabbed a couple spare cylinders for the 58's from Muzzle-Loaders.com in 36 and 44.
Both fit and cycle perfectly Pietta seems to be getting better recently.
No $25 hazmat from basspro?
Seems kind of wild as they charged me and I ordered 1000 should be here monday.
No shipping charges other than that for mine.
On the inside of the grip frame is where the tension screw is you don't need to take the grips off.
Loosen it until the hammer relaxes then tighten it until it drops that should be good but may need to be tightened more.

He is asking if it was fired into snow then retrieved I think.
I have some of those kerr I pulled out of hardbacked books that had the same grooving in the base.
Good bullet I like it in the 58 with 35 grains of pyrodex.
The eras gone 31,36 and 45 conicals all shave a nice ring when loaded.
Only one I have that doesn't is the Lee .45 which also has issues with umfired rounds backing out of the cylinder due to recoil causing tje cylinder to no longer rotate.
For me I hear the manufacturers loudly telling me they don't care and to f***k off so I have.
When someone says they hate me and don't want my money I believe them.
So to me making my own isn't solely due to scarcity its me doing as asked.
The 3d printed caps are the future and it is here now.
Literally eliminates cap jams on their own and can be done at home by anyone with a printer or you can buy some on amazon now.
Significantly better than metallic caps.
The lee .45 don't shave a circle for me but the eras gone kerr sure does.
Accuracy is better with the balls than the conicals for me as well.
I use .454 balls and the kerr is .457 at its widest while the lee is .45.
