LOL, that is certainly true. The gun I have just has one small area that is badly pitted, about 1/4” area. I’m concerned a restoration will change the contours of the gun.

Is it just me, or is the barrel on every single one of these 3rd Gen Colt Signature Series canted to either the left or the right? Every one of these I've seen has this problem, whereas every 2nd Gen I've seen the barrels are on straight.
