I’m looking for lead, as I guess many people on this site are. I have never bought lead before, preferring to buy lead balls premade. I have now decided to begin making my own RB’s. Any suggestions as to where to look for lead and what would be a good price per pound? Thanks.

Fruitcakes is one of those things you either really like or don’t like. I really like homemade fruitcakes, especially with a hot cup of coffee. Store bought fruitcakes, not so much. A hunk of fruitcake is always a good thing to take with you when you go out into the woods!

Once your patches are lubed, what is the best way you have found to carry them?

For those of you who swab between shots, exactly how do you do it? Do you use one swab with water, do you follow the wet swab with a dry patch, do you use something other than water, or do you do sometimes else? Just how do you do it?
