Brand new wood, 45 cal barrel with mint bore and 50 cal barrel with a good shootable bore with both factory ramrods. Asking 525.00 shipped to 48 states. Needs brass patchbox. Has single set trigger can be fired without set and factory double set trigger goes with this as well.
Pedersoli makes a frontier in 32 and one in 36. I has both and had no complaints. The 32 was very accurate in a flinter. I had a crockett 32 but the drop on the stock made it hard to line up the sights.
I don't have an hourly rate. I bought this gun under the assumption that the bore was shot and was going to make a smoothbore 58 out of it. I think the member that sold it to me cheap may want it back knowing the bore is not shot out and possibly the reason he sold it so cheap. If not, I will...
I am trying to get the member from Hollister Missouri that sold me a 50 hawken. Pm me please as I got the barrel cleaned after 8 hours of scrubbing and the bore is in very nice shape and just thought you may want it back.
I boiled on final application and then used a piece of round duct, cut in half and put end caps on and sealed. I done a 42" barrel that way and came out just fine.
Put barrel in place and set over a humidifier, it will form to barrel. I just done that and it worked just fine. Clamp it to barrel then let sit, removes to a drier place, leave clamps on and you are good to go.
I had a Pedersoli 32, 36 and 50 flinters and all 3 where reliable locks that were pretty fast on ignition. I never did a thing to them except shoot and clean.
