nice looking gun. what are you shooting ball? how much powder do you use? i have have shot mostly ball and throw 90 grains of pyrodex behind it. it kick a little ( i'm the runt in the family) but i can reach out and touch a 4 in. square at 135 yards repeatedly.- tigers

new to muzzleloading and need help!
I bought myself a 50 cal and took it to my uncles to have him show me how to use it. that weekend it worked great.it was really fun. yesterday i went out shooting and it would not fire even once. i wasted about 7 caps trying to get it to fire. now i have a load in the barrel and the ball...- tigers
