Patridge sight. Flat-topped "squared" post front, often used with a "square" notch rear sight. Patridge has a vertical, flat face toward the shooter's eye. methinks.

Do you prefer .50 over .54? If so, why. In your videos, you shoot a .50cal out to 500 and 1200 yards (and very well), do you shoot .54 to similar distances and, if not, why not?

I've owned just two TC Hawken rifles, a .45 and a .50. I liked them well-enough; never was a really good marksman and by the time that I retired and could devote the time and energy to become a decent shot, a permanent neurological disease ended my shooting. I greatly enjoy your videos and envy...
