    Matched pair of Napoleons

Thanks Rich44! I do love making this stuff. My shop, however, is always a disaster. It is a small sheet metal building 12' X 24'. I am space poor but equipment rich! I stay pretty busy.

Pack Parrot blast from the past

A Pack Parrott is a short stubby version of a Parrott Rifle. It was carried on a mule. Here is a picture of one from a 1996 South Bend Replica catalog. Second gun down. Here is a 1/2 scale Prairie carriage I made for one.

    1/4 scale 1841 Six Pounder

You would be very surprised at the very small size of my shop. It is a portable sheet metal building measuring 12' X 24'. I am very space poor but I'm equipment rich. There is a lot of things stuffed into that small space.🥸

    1/4 scale Napoleon

Thanks, I am in the process of making three more right now. There is a lot to be done. Don't mistake my quality of work with Rich44's. He is the finest craftsman I've ever come across.

My New Cannon Barrel has found a new Playmate

Rich44, Thanks! I am currently in the process of building three more of the Napoleons. It is a large task. You are the only person I have ever heard about that can make a barrel with dolphins out of a block of steel. Now that is a true accomplishment!

My New Cannon Barrel has found a new Playmate

Rich44, You are amazing!! I can't even come close to that skill level. Lack of knowledge and machines. Really nice!!

Sean, Is one handle on each side of the mortar beds sufficient for lifting one of those things up?

My three quarter scale Revolutionary War carriage.

Rich44, That looks so sad. Building the wheels was a challenge. I built that carriage a long time ago. It was one of my early attempts at carriage building . The wheels are not dished but still came out nice for a first try. This picture after I got my new front doors.

My three quarter scale Revolutionary War carriage.

The gun is no longer mine. It belongs to the golf country club. I don't know what they did with it. They were jerks to deal with in the first place and ignored my maintenance advice. I don't want anything to do with them anymore.

My three quarter scale Revolutionary War carriage.

This was one of my very early cannon carriages. I built it in 1998. It sat in my foyer for more than a decade. I mounted a South Bend Replica "swivel barrel" on it. The barrel was 36" long and weighed 175 lbs. It had a 1.5" bore. It had 36" wheels that I built. After building one pair of wheels...
