    2f or 3f in .54 Colerain?

    I have a .54 Colerain 38" been shooting a 535 RB with a .015 patch with 110grs 3f for years for deer. Chronos at avg. of 1930 fps, 90 @1750 and 120 @ 1995fps. I settled on 110. JB

    .45 cal maxi in a 13/16 " barrel

    thanks T For the valuable info. I do have a .54 RB flint just wanted find out my options for the .45 since it has only about 450 fpe or so at 75 yds. It is 40" 1 in 60 twist GM barrel. I would much prefer to stick with RB. Jeff

    .45 cal maxi in a 13/16 " barrel

    Hi all Can or should a 200+- grain maxi/conical be fired in a Green Mountain 13/16" .45 cal. barrel. This is from a flintlock. Is this a safe practice. The reason is to surpass the ballistics of a .45 cal. round ball. Thanks JB

    .45 cal. load

    Can anyone recommend a PRB load for deer and lighter load for general shooting from a 45 cal. rifle I use 3fff. It has a 40 " 13/16" barrel Green Mountain barrel. Has anyone tried a .45 cal. 200 gr. Ballets in this type of barrel. Thanks in advance.

    Moving flash hole

    I purchased a used Tulle 20 guage lovely gun but touch hole liner off center (too far foward maybe by 3/32") in relation to center of pan, height is correct. Prone to flash in the pan when gun is left loaded for a time, failed to fire at turkey yesterday fired when reprimed. Same thing happened...
