    T/C nipple & wrench help

    I would like to order a couple of new nipples and a good wrench for a T/C Hawken .50. I have looked at some special nipples that are supposed to get a hotter spark to the powder but I can't find any model or size number on the old original nipple. Can I get some suggestions? Thanks

    I have a .50 T/C Hawkin. I want to use plain old black for my loads shooting prb. May I ask for black powder brand suggestions, FF or FFF, and suggestions for beginning to max charge? Thanks for any help :idunno:

    In the Rocky MT. trapping era, what type of steel was used for knives and how were the scales actually attached? When a trapper was wintering in those mountains he must have been very short on the necessary items needed to repair such items as knives, hawks, etc.
