FOR SALE North Star West Trade Gun

The bore is clean. At 25yds I can shoot it almost as good as a rifle. At 50yds I can keep it on a 10” steel plate with a fairly tight group. I’m not a smoothbore shooter. I’m sure in the right hands it could do better. You should have no problem taking a deer at 40yds.

Is the Kibler SMR light and whippy?

The oldtimer was probably a serious target shooter. Most good target shooters I know (especially the older ones) like a gun with a little weight and especially a little weight at the muzzle. It does help the gun hold steady for serious off hand shooting. I have a custom Leman rifle that fits...

    Loose Hammer on Percussion rifle.

Jim Chambers responded to this question once on another forum. He said to lay the hammer face down on your anvil, (the back of your bench vice) put the ball end of a ball peen hammer in the hole and with another hammer strike it. This will peen all four sides evenly. If it’s still loose you can...

    Venmo Scams

The first time I heard of Venmo was a few years back when I was selling a revolver on here. A member messaged me and said he was buying the gun and had put money in my Venmo account. I replied and told him I didn’t know what he was talking about or what Venmo was. He then told me I would have to...
